Anne Rung

Anne Rung serves as Administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy in the Office of Management and Budget. She was confirmed on September 11, 2014. Rung is responsible for implementing acquisition policies covering more than $450 billion in annual federal contract spending.

Admiral Paul Zukunft

Admiral Paul Zukunft assumed the duties of the 25th Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard on May 30, 2014. He leads the largest component of the Department of Homeland Security, composed of 88,000 personnel including active duty, reserve, civilian and volunteer Auxiliarists.
 
Prior to this, Admiral Zukunft served as Commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area, where he was operational commander for all U.S. Coast Guard missions in an area encompassing more than 74 million square miles and provided mission support to the Department of Defense and Combatant Commanders.

LaVerne H. Council

Ms. LaVerne H. Council joined the Department of Veterans Affairs in July 2015 as the Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology (OI&T) and Chief Information Officer. In this role, Ms. Council oversees the day-to-day activities of VA’s $4 billion IT budget and over 8,000 IT employees to ensure that VA has the IT tools and services needed to support our Nation’s Veterans.

Maureen Hartney

Maureen Hartney is a master’s student in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. After earning dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida in political science and history, she was commissioned through the Reserve Offcer Training Corps into the Air Force as an Intelligence Offcer. She served on active duty for six years and was stationed in Germany as well as northern Virginia. While in Germany, Hartney deployed to Afghanistan within A-10C squadron and also supported NATO forces during the 2011 Libya conflict.

Dr. Karen Guice

Karen S. Guice, M.D., M.P.P., is the Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. Dr. Guice assists in the development of strategies and priorities to achieve the health mission of the Military Health System, and participates fully in formulating, developing, overseeing and advocating the policies of the Secretary of Defense.

Dr. Ellen Stofan

Dr. Ellen Stofan was appointed NASA chief scientist on August 25, 2013, serving as principal advisor to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden on the agency's science programs and science-related strategic planning and investments.

Kevin McAleenan

Kevin K. McAleenan is the Deputy Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, serving as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer and senior career official; overseeing the largest federal law enforcement agency in the U.S. government with 60,000 employees.  Under McAleenan’s leadership and advocacy, CBP has developed strategies that protect the nation’s borders from terrorism and attack transnational criminal networks.  McAleenan has also implemented innovations that have facilitated the U.S.

David Eagles

David Eagles joined the Partnership in 2015 as the Director of the Center for Presidential Transition and leads the Ready to Govern initiative to assist the presidential candidates in navigating the transition process, promote presidential transition reforms, develop management recommendations for the next administration, and train political appointees to lead effectively.

Peter Neffenger

Peter V. Neffenger was the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration from July 2015 till his statutorily required resignation on January 20, 2017 upon Donald Trump becoming President. Previously to leading TSA, Neffenger was a Vice Admiral in the United States Coast Guard, serving as Vice Commandant of the United States Coast Guard since May 20, 2014.

Daniel Levinson

Daniel R. Levinson has headed the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for over a decade. A lawyer and a certified fraud examiner, Mr. Levinson leads an independent and objective organization of more than 1,500 auditors, evaluators, investigators, and lawyers, who oversee the integrity and efficiency of the Nation's one trillion dollar annual investment in Federal health and human services programs.
