Gary C. Bryner

GARY C. BRYNER, was named director of the Natural Resources Law Center in August 1999. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in Economics from the University of Utah, a PhD from Cornell University in Government, and a J.D. from Brigham Young University. He has been a guest fellow at the Brookings Institution, The National Academy of Public Administration, and the Natural Resources Law Center. He is a member of the steering committee of the National Clean Air Network. Before coming to the Center, he directed the Public Policy program at Brigham Young University.

John Bridgeland and Bruce Reed

John Bridgeland is Founder and CEO of Civic Enterprises, a public policy firm in Washington, D.C., and Vice Chair of the Service Year Alliance at The Aspen Institute, a new initiative to create a voluntary, civilian national service counterpart to military service in the United States. He is also author of the book, Heart of the Nation: Volunteering and America's Civic Spirit, which is being assigned in classes on college campuses.

Trevor L. Brown

Trevor Brown conducts research and teaches on public management and leadership, governance, government contracting, public private partnerships, and democracy and democratic transitions.

Professor Brown received his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Political Science from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs and the Department of Political Science, Indiana University and a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University.

Douglas A. Brook

Douglas A. Brook is Visiting Professor of the Practice in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. He is also professor emeritus at the Naval Postgraduate School, where he had served as professor, dean of the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy, and director of the Center for Defense Management Research. From 2007 to 2009, Brook served first as Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management & Comptroller) and later as Acting Undersecretary of Defense (Comptroller) and Chief Financial Offcer.

Xavier de Souza Briggs

Xavier (Xav) de Souza Briggs is vice president for US programs. He oversees the foundation’s domestic programming for Civic Engagement and Government, Creativity and Free Expression, Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice, Future of Work(ers), Just Cities and Regions, Technology and Society, and Mission Investments.

Jonathan D. Breul

Jonathan D. Breul was the Executive Director of the IBM Center for The Business of Government and a Partner in IBM Global Business Services.

Louis M. Brennan

Louis Brennan is currently based at Trinity College Dublin where he is Director of the Institute for International Integration Studies and Professor of Business Studies within the School of Business. He was previously a faculty member at Merrimack College, having most recently served as Associate Professor in the Department of Management. He was also research associate for the Project for the Study of Telecommuting Practices at Merrimack College. Dr.

Randy V. Bradley

Randy V. Bradley is an assistant professor of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds a PhD in Management of Information Technology and Innovation from Auburn University.

Daren C. Brabham

Daren C. Brabham is an assistant professor in the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California, as well as the founding editor of Case Studies in Strategic Communication. He was the first to publish scholarly research using the term crowdsourcing in 2008 in an article in Convergence. Dr. Brabham is the author of the book Crowdsourcing (MIT Press, 2013).

Barry Bozeman

Barry Bozeman is Regents’ Professor of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology. He previously served as director of the School of Public Policy and was founding director of the Research Value Mapping Program. Before joining Georgia Tech in 1994, Bozeman was Professor of Public Administration and Affiliate Professor of Engineering at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and the L. C. Smith College of Engineering. Bozeman’s research interests have focused on public management and science and technology policy.
