Laura Goddeeris, AICP, is ICMA’s director of survey research as well as ICMA’s COVID-19 Action Team. She has 15 years of experience in community and economic development research, outreach, and program administration. Before coming to ICMA in 2017, Laura worked with Michigan State University’s Center for Regional Food Systems.

Gurdeep Gill (she/her) is a 2nd generation Punjabi America and a dedicated community advocate. She aims to increase access and opportunity for low-income Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) so that they can thrive in the ways they want. Currently, she is a Ruth Woo Fellow at King County where she has helped with COVID-19 response, supported the development of the County’s Strategic Climate Action Plan, and is currently supporting the development of a communications strategy and organizational transformation with the King County Council’s Office of Equity and Social Justice.
